Kingdom Cosplay Productions

I’ve been neglecting this site recently. I’ve just had too many things to do. Opps. XD

I’m now part of a cosplay group. We function under the name Kingdom Cosplay Productions. I’m really excited about this. Basically what we are doing right now is featuring differant cosplays of our groups members on our Deviantart. Everyobe has their own cosplays spanning acroos many differant series. For AnimeNEXT this year we are aiming to get together an Organization XIII group cosplay. Org XIII will be our groups main focus once we get it up and running. And of course we will still being doing our own individual cosplays as well.

As of now our convenion plans include : Castle Point in April, AnimeNEXT in June, possibly Otakon in July, and NYAF in September. Of course more cons may be added to the list as time passes. If you’re going to any of these conventions you will more than likely see some of us there. =) We also have a web show in the works that will be broadcasted over Youtube. It’s still in it’s planning stages as of now since the spring semester has just started and we are all busy with school.

I was SUPER productive today (lies)

Well here’s what i did today.

-watched cut sceens from Kingdom Hearts 2 on youtube for a couple of hours
-watched Paradise Kiss episode 1 – 4
-more facebook
-drew the line art for my Ed painting and inked it < only productive thing i've done
-more youtube!

Yup well that's been my day so far…yup i got a lot done. XDD

New Years

Well what can i say, we made it to 2010. 2009 has honestly been one of the best years of my life so far, so here’s to hoping that 2010 beats it. =D Happy New Year all.

Holiday Update

First off i wanna wish a happy holidays to everyone. My Christmas was great. My grandparents came to visit from New York. My brother and I played a lot of video games and we played the games on my gaia account. XDDD I got lots of kick ass presents! I got 5 volumes of the Nana manga, the Paradise Kiss dvd boxed set, a set of copic markers, tan ugg boots and one of those ipod radio adapters so i can listen to my ipod in the car. =) I love Christmas. <3

Artist’s Alley

I’ve been playing with the idea of renting a table at an anime convention to sell my art work at for some time now. I’m just now finally getting around to working on it. I decided that I’m going to make several (like 25) mini painting (around 5 by 7 inches) and sell them and most likely prints of them at an up coming convention. My goal is to debut at the Castle Point Anime Con in April but I’m not sure if I’ll have enough work done in time to do it this year. I’m really excited about this and have been working really hard lately to create these paintings. So far i have 6 completed (Mikako and Tsutomu from Gokinjo Monogatari; L, Light and Misa from Death Note; and Death the Kid from Soul Eater. I’m currently working on Soul from Soul Eater and I’m a little over half way done. I’m really fired up for this right now and I’ve been getting a lot done recently. If i keep this up i should be done in no time. Hopefully they will actually sell. XD I think I’m going to be selling each painting for around $15-$20 each and each print at around $7-$10. Hopefully I’ll post examples up soon. Wish me luck everyone. =D

Winter Break

Hmmm well i don’t have too much to say. I’m on winter break, which is awesome. Im so happy that i finally have time to relax. I’ve been painting a lot recently and watching anime. By the way if anyone knows where to watch gokinjo monogatari online sybbed past episode 30 tell me please! I can’t seen to find anything pasy 29. =(

Rememberance

I logged on to my allpoetry acount today for old times sake. And i have to say that i almost cries while reading through some of my old poetry. It made me remember a lost love that i had almost fully forgotten about. Over all it just brought back so many memories from my past. I realize how much I miss a certain person who i pretty much rarely in my life anymore. Ans it’s m y fault that he’s not around anymore. Wow time really does change people…

Finals Week

Well my seester here at Mason Gross is drawing to a close. Today’s my last offical day of class. i can’t believe that it went by so quickly, though im very excited for the break. A MONTH AND A WEEK OF VACATION!!!! YAY! I have one more final left today, for seminar in contemporary art. I think it should be pretty easy actually. I studied. =) And i had my fin al for expos this morning. That was rather hard. We had to write an essay in class. I think i did okay though…hopefully. The thing that worries me is that if i don’t pass the final i have to re-take the entire class, even though i got straight B’s on all the papers. That’d epicly suck. So hopefully i did well. I had my drawing final project due last monday, so that’s been out of the way for a while. And for visual thinking we didn’t even have a final project and i already know i have an A in the class. Kicj fucking ass! All that’s left now is my photo final protfolio which i should finish this weekend and i have to come in on tuesday to pick up my writing folder and find out my final grade. After that i’ totally done. =D Im so excited for break. Yay break.

Finals, Photoshoot, Conventions, and Cosplay

Wow i haven’t blogged in a while. XDD I’ve been so busy with finals and projects and what not that i really haven’t had the time. There’s really not too much going on right now with me other than school stuff. I finished my visual thinking project so now i just have to complete my drawing final for monday and have my photo stuff done by the 14th. Oh and then there’s that 949384745829 papers i have to write too. XDD The good news is though that i only have like 12 days til my winter break starts. IM SO EXCITED!!!!! Yaay. <3 I love taking art classes, cause that means i don't need to come in on the officail testing days. Purely epic win. .< And the weathger is supposed to be shit so i have no idea how this is going to work out…hopefully it'll all turn out okay. Oh please let it all work out!

I'm already trying to plan out my cosplay for AnimeNEXT. I'm so excited for it already and it's still months away. I was planning on going to Castle Point in the spring but idk if i will anymore since i kind of want to save money for AN. We will see since CP is so cheap. XDD SO for AnimeNEXT i pretty much decided i want to be Miwako from Paradise Kiss. I want to make my costume from scratch by hand though, so it might take a while. There's this really beautiful fabric that i want for the costume, but i can only order it only line from Japan. I really want it because i think it'll go perfectly with the Gothic Lolita-ish dress that i want to make. But it's pretty expensive and i'd have to pay shipping costs too. If i can save up enough money in the near future i'm defiunatly going to do it. My issue right now is trying to decide on a wig. There are two that i like and i'm not sure which one will work better.

So hyeah those are my two choices. Input is always helpful. Oh and for those of you who don’t know Miwako looks like this. >

I really wanna go all out on this cosplay. My cosplay for NYAF 09 was pretty good and my one from ANimeNEXT 09 was pretty much epic fail. XDD So i really want this one to kick ass!
